Return to Lockerbie

ITV presents ‘Return to Lockerbie’, a documentary presented by Lorraine Kelly that recounts the events and aftermath of the worst terror attack in UK history that devastated the small town of Lockerbie, Scotland 35 years ago.

The documentary explores the personal journey of Lorraine, one of the first TV reporters on the scene that day on December 21st 1988 who witnessed first hand the horrific aftermath of the attack that resulted in all 259 passengers and crew losing their lives and 11 fatalities on the ground and the lasting impact it has had on both Lorraine and the residents of Lockerbie to this day.

Aerialworx teamed up with Leo Burley, a BAFTA award winning director to capture drone footage as Lorraine Kelly revisits the town for the first time since the disaster, where she joins residents of the town as they share their personal stories and journeys towards healing and from the grief and loss that affected so many and rebuilding their lives and community.
