Green Space Dark Skies
Green Space Dark Skies is a series of events that took place between April and September 2022. People from all walks of life to experience beautiful landscapes across the UK. Involving thousands of people across the 20 locations, including the Highlands of Scotland, Ireland, North Wales, Lake District, Dorchester, Bedfordshire, Exmoor, Dartmoor and Norfolk.
This series of mass gatherings celebrated nature and our responsibility to protect it and everyone’s right to explore the countryside. Crossing artistic boundaries, the project brought together – musicians, choreographers, poets, writers, artists, performers, directors and designers; technicians, film makers, drone operators, producers and production managers, stage/site managers and engineers. People working across participation, marketing, finance, learning, administration, filming, production and sustainability – some for a few days and some for weeks or months. The project brought these collective minds together to produce an unprecedented piece of imaginative and interactive art.
