The Feed

The dystopian drama set in a near-future London. The story follows Tom Hatfield (Guy Burnet) who invents an omnipresent technology as a brain implant. Called, The Feed, it enables people to share information, emotions and memories instantly. However, when the technology falls into the wrong hands, users start to become murderous and the inventor’s family are driven apart as they struggle to control the monster they have unleashed.

Based on a novel by Nick Clark Windo. Our DJI Inspire2 equipped with DJI X7 both filmed the close action driving scenes and became a focal point on the film set. The high tech appearance of the drone made it ideal for the totalitarianism feel of the film.

More Information

This shoot had a number of complex shots in varying locations with varying requirements and to this end we used a combination of our Raptor X1 drone lifting our Arri Alexa Mini camera and our Inspire2 drone lifting the X7 camera. The Alexa Mini was used whenever possible and the X7 was used when flying space was a concern or a drone was required in front of the camera. We simply can’t wait to see the role our Inspire2 plays in front of the camera.
