BBC Scotland’s Only Child

Introducing ‘Only Child’, the latest comedy series from BBC Scotland airing on TV and BBC iPlayer starring Gregor Fisher and Greg McHugh as father and son duo Ken and Richard.

The series follows actor Richard returning home from London to his family home in Forres, Moray to visit his recently widowed father Ken, a year on from the passing of his mother Jean. Upon returning, Richard begins to realise that perhaps his dad may need more full time help than he originally thought, not that the strong willed, eccentric and technophobic Ken would agree. The six-part story navigates inter-generational and domestic differences, neighbourly squabbles and the comedic relationship between father and son from the perspective of the two lead protagonists.
